PDL 36 Portable Drill
The PDL 36 is a portable drill line that can be used to process precision holes in beams, channel, plate and tubing. Sections as large as 36” wide can be drilled. The drill is mounted on a roller/carriage system which ride on and is clamped to the section to be processed. Because of this design, there are no length limitations. A laser beam locates the “hole-center” on the X-axis and a digital gauge system then locates the “hole-center” on the Y-axis assuring accuracy. This eliminates costly layout and center punching of holes associated with the conventional Mag Drill process.
