Flame Cutting

One of the easiest methods of cutting steel is to burn a slot in it using a stream of pure oxygen. This process, called flamecutting, oxygen cutting or burning, is an economical method of cutting steel that provides good dimensional tolerances.

Much faster than any sawing or machining process, the flamecutting process works on all steel products, but most large machines are particularly suited for cutting intricate shapes from plate.  Additionally, our 42 foot table allows us to process up to 40' wide flange beams into "split tees."

Our oxy-fuel burn table will flamecut accurate parts to order for customers who do not have the expensive equipment and/or manpower required to create these items.
